2011 UWENJAH FASHION SHOW/WEEK
Monday 19th December was an eventful day for the House of Dhabri Khenchy as she organizes the 2011 Uwenjah Fashion Show Week which was recorded successful. The fashion week which pulled fashion icons and fans from within and across the state capital commenced with the dinner night and star runway held at the Chimbest Resort Owerri Imo State Nigeria.
The event had over 32 well groomed grand finalists contested for the star runway model of the year. The 21-year-old Miss Lucy Edeh emerged 1st after dusting 31 others with a return ticket to South Africa for the 2012 SA Fashion Week and full wardrobe (1 year) allowance.
Ambassador Couture took the centre stage as the best designer of the year 2011 (Uwenjah Fashion Week – Award). Meanwhile the induction ceremony of the event is slated for February 11, 2011 at the Imo Concord Hotel and resort Owerri, Imo State.
