Ben Murray Bruce

Ben Murray Bruce (born 1956) was a Graduate of Business Administration from the University of Southern California.  Ben is a media practitioner and a motivational speaker and a role model for the teaming Nigerian youths. Apart from being among the world global leaders and directors to many firms in the United Kingdom, France, the United States of America and Nigeria, Ben was famous as Executive Director in the following companies:-

*Black Music Association of America with Quincy Jones, Dick Griffey, Stevie Wonder

*Coalition for a Free Africa with the late President Samora Machel of Mozambique and the Rev. Jesse Jackson. 

Ben has also served as a member of the following boards:

* National Arts Theatre Management Board (NATMB)

* Federal Film Censors Board (FFCB)

* Board of the Nigerian Film Corporation (BNFC)

* National Film Distribution Company (NFDC)

* Nigerian Anti-Piracy Action Committee (NAPPC)

He served as the Director General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) the Africa’s Largest Television Network for four consecutive years. Recently, Ben is Group Chairman and founder of the Silverbird Group (Nigeria’s leading entertainment company) which comprises of Silverbird Digital TV which main Stations are in Abuja, Lagos and Port-Harcourt with challenging needs to expand to other Nigerian major cities. The Silverbird Group has also FM digital radio stations (Rhythm FM) situated in Nigerian Major Cities and Nigeria’s ever first multi-plex Cinema galleria mainly situated in Abuja, Lagos and Port-Harcourt.

Ben is also a philanthropist and chief sponsor of many ongoing events in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry among which are the organizing and sponsoring of the Miss Nigeria and Miss World Beauty Pageant competition which projected former Miss Nigeria Agbani Derego in 2001 and recently organizing the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) beauty pageant.
